As an author, Alyssa brings stories to life that engage young readers and build lasting memories at bedtime. Alyssa is passionate that children's books are meant to be read together, while snuggled with a blanket.

Aside from writing, Alyssa's day job consists of teaching high school students the art of living independently. As a special education teacher, Alyssa specializes in employment and transition skills needed for all students to live their fullest life post-graduation.

For all of the great lessons that a good book can deliver, at the end of the day, kids just want to be entertained. As an author, Alyssa strives to create stories that will make children fall in love with reading by actively engaging them in the story. We strongly believe that a life-long love of reading starts in the home, where a bedtime story isn't just an activity, but an experience. The only lesson learned from Alyssa’s stories is simple: books are fun! All of her books are meant to be read aloud with the child, fostering not only a love of books, but a stronger relationship with you, the parent.
