Raffi Publishing’s picture books are a true family project: inspired by child, written by mom, and illustrated by Grandpa (or more affectionately known as “Grampy”). All of Ron’s illustrations are hand drawn with lots of love.

Ron Carlson is no stranger to the arts. He's spent his life designing and creating various projects around the home. From designing sets at a performing arts high school to painting family portraits, and creating custom furniture, the arts are in his blood.  In his “spare time”, he enjoys spending time with his grandkids and slowly completing the ever growing “honey-do” list.
